Summary
The forum aims to provide opportunities for developing country delegates to be updated on cross-cutting IP negotiations and other processes in Geneva and elsewhere on a monthly basis. It will be dedicated to reviewing and assessing recent international negotiations sessions, providing a holistic overview across different forums, to allow delegates to better coordinate positions on the subject of intellectual property in different multilateral organizations. These include Geneva-based organizations such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as the World Customs Organization (WCO) based in Brussels, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) based in Paris, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and related processes such as the proposed Anti-Counterfeiting Treaty (ACTA)
